About $1,542! The special Victoria Beckham moisturiser is made from her own blood and the designer claims, has skin healing properties

British fashion designer Victoria Beckham, is not only known for her impeccable style but also for her flawless skin. She follows a strict skincare regimen and invests heavily on it. So its perhaps not surprising that the former pop star and fashion designer decided to splurge £1,200 ($1,542) on what is now being called the ‘Victoria Beckham moisturiser.’

It’s reportedly made from her—wait for it—blood!

Beckham wrote: “This week I’m going to be trying this new product which includes two different sorts of vegan vitamin tablets that you take twice a day.”

The 42-year-old was also seen applying Dr Sturm’s famous MC1 cream in the now-deleted clips, which is praised for its alleged anti-ageing properties.

In following videos, Beckham shows a display with a syringe containing ‘plasma.’ This is the main ingredient that revitalises the facial skin and she claims has ‘healing properties.’

Explaining the strange image, Beckham wrote: “@drbarbarasturm took my blood and created healing factors made by my own cells which are highly inflammatory and regenerative.”

“I’ll be testing it out this week both morning and night,” she added.

“After sleeping in the mask (which soaks in so doesn’t look funny or feel sticky), my skin feels amazing! Super hydrated, clear and very soft!” wrote Beckham as a part of the review.

She followed up the next morning with a second picture in her bath towel.

Now, this ‘blood face cream’ or ‘Victoria Beckham moisturiser’ might have set her back by £1200 ($1,542), but looks like she was happy with the result.

Incidentally, its not the first of its kind crazy skincare product. There was also the vampire facial, if you recall. And that facial is eerily similar to this cream.

The vampire facials first made headlines in 2013. They were mentioned by pop culture star Kim Kardashian who was filmed having the procedure on her show.

For this facial, blood is first taken from the client before extracting the plasma, and then re-injected into the face. Designed to boost anti-ageing properties, the process helps to accelerate the growth of collagen.

Either way, it looks like Beckham prefers this skincare method and is happy to share how well its worked on her skin. Interestingly, there are other products that she swears by as well.
