Victoria Beckham is adding another feather to her cap by launching an eponymous beauty line. The former Spice Girl and current 'it' girl of the fashion industry announced via press release that she was going to head Victoria Beckham Beauty; adding that Victoria Beckham beauty products will be launched by fall this year.
"I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in makeup, skin care, fragrance, and wellness that I feel I need in my own life," Beckham reportedly said in her release.
This is good news for all of her fans who were patiently waiting for this good news given that her previous beauty collaborations were such a huge hit. For the uninitiated, in 2016, Beckham launched a successful collaboration with Estée Lauder. A second one followed the next year with eyeshadows, mascaras, powders, and lipsticks, inspired by her favourite cities.
And now with the announcement of Victoria Beckham beauty products, the 44-year-old has made all her fans excited. It's also worth noting that Victoria Beckham beauty's co-founder and CEO is Sarah Creal, who was a former Estée Lauder executive and helped create the original VB capsule collection.
Victoria Beckham Beauty Products Will Have A Special Feature
The Victoria Beckham beauty products will be launched sometime in the fall this year. Although no date has been set yet, the former Spice girl has asked fans to keep their eye peeled for an autumn/winter 2019 release.
"I want to take care of women inside and out, providing them with the must-have items in make-up, skincare, fragrance, and wellness that I feel I need in my own life," she told Vogue.
Soon after Beckham shared the news of the launch of her luxury beauty products, she received an outpour of messages from her fans and friends. Each of whom wanted to know the price point and if it was cruelty free.
Also lo and behold, Beckham solved the mystery just 12 hours back when she shared all the crucial details of her beauty line.
Yes! Victoria Beckham Beauty Products Are Cruelty Free
In an Instagram post, Beckham wrote: Overwhelmed by your response to #VBBeauty! I’ve been reading all of your comments in between my #VBAW19 show prep. For all of you asking #VBBeauty will be cruelty free, inclusive for all skin tones, and available at an accessible luxury price-point. Sign up through the link in bio to be among the first to know. X Kisses"
Interestingly, all the Victoria Beckham beauty products will be sold direct-to-consumer online at her eponymous website. They are not going to be available in stores at the moment.
Talking about this model Beckham earlier mentioned, “I was going direct to the consumer with regards to fashion before I had a standalone store, so this isn’t new to me.”
She also released her own YouTube channel to engage directly with all her fans. “Just like I spend so much time in the fitting room getting to know what my customers want to wear, I’m going to be asking women to tell me which products they want me to develop for them in the beauty and wellness arenas. It’s important for me to know what they want,” she told Vogue.
What Can You Expect From Victoria Beckham Beauty Products?
Given her interest in good skincare, it is likely that Beckham will launch a skincare line. But she is also quite the makeup junkie and is not afraid to disclose her love for all things beauty. So a makeup line may also be in the offing.
If you recall, just last year Beckham dropped subtle hints about this new venture while discussing Victoria Beckham x Estée Lauder line.
She said, "I have no shame in admitting that I love make-up! I’m a total beauty junkie, and always have been. I was constantly rifling through my mum’s make-up bag when I was little, and I loved nothing better than watching her getting ready to go out – putting her lipstick and eyeliner on. I like to celebrate being a woman – and for me, make-up is just a part of that."
So expect a cruelty free makeup line that will be for all 'skin tones.' We have only one thing to say: Sign us up!
