Plaids, checks and stripes have been winning over street styles this past month and Milan was no different.

Show goers were seen in variations of checks and stripes (tartan is also back, by the way). From coats to skirts to shirts, and even accessories, they were everywhere.

2. Animal print rules

This year has been all about animal prints. Anybody who keeps a tab on the latest trends knows that anybody and everybody was seen donning animal print this year.

And, two of the most popular animal prints have been leopard and snake skin. From clothes to accessories, these print are everywhere and now most high-street brands are doing them too.

3. Bright neons

Yes, we sounded off the alarm a long time back. Neons and bright colours were also the flavour of Milan street style, apt because it was spring summer showcase.

Many show goers sported bright colours including neon greens and fluorescent pinks and it's certainly a great idea if colour-blocking is your thing.

4. Logomania

With several luxury and streetwear brand collaborations, logos were everywhere and show goers left no stone unturned to flash them famous logos.

If you think about it, since you did spend a fortune in buying such a expensive product, you might as well flaunt it! What's the harm in a bit of vainity! Get it?

5. Althleisure

Okay, so athleisure isn't going anywhere and Milan street style has proved just that. Fashion goers looked both-- stylish and well put together in their logo-infused althleisure and we are not complaining.

It's comfortable, fashionable and boujee. It checks all the boxes on our list. And if you want to get something for the next spring summer season, perhaps this is one of those styles you should immediately get on board with.

Next stop, Paris.
