Oh F***! Why Did Meghan Markle Do This To Her New Dress?

Meghan Markle's recent photos reveal that she didn't quite check herself before stepping out and left something dangling from her dress

Thanks to her sartorial choices, the newly-minted Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has quickly become a fashion icon. She always looks put together and carries herself with utmost grace. At least up until now.

The couple who are on a whirlwind tour, landed in Tonga today. And, much to the pleasure of fashion police, Markle made a major fashion faux pas.

In Meghan Markle's latest photos, she is seen in a Self Portrait red number, and had her price tag sticking out of the hem of her midi dress.

The Duke and Duchess landed in Tonga and were welcomed to Fua’amotu Airport by Princess Angelika Latufuipeka. While Markle looked ravishing in her red Self Portrait outfit, onlookers couldn't help but notice a price tag sticking out.

In most of Meghan Markle's latest photos the tag is clearly visible and you can also see the staff walking behind her checking it out as well.

This fashion faux pas was first spotted by Sophie Walsh, a reporter for Channel 9 News, which is an Australian CNN affiliate. She flagged it off on Twitter saying, "With so many outfit changes I think the Duchess can be forgiven for this."

And she's right! With so many stops (on a 16-day tour) and very little time to change, it is possible that this faux pas slipped the eagle eye's of her fashion entourage. Or, the dress could very well have been given to her on loan and she may have wanted to return it.

Either way, this did not stop the two soon-to-be parents from walking the red carpet that was laid out for them. In fact, they even greeted all those who came to welcome them.

The Couple Quickly Moved On To Another Reception

After a few hours, the couple quickly changed into their formal attires and went to an official welcome dinner. While Markle was seen in a gorgeous figure hugging white Theia dress, Price Harry wore a suit!

Putting the price tag fiasco behind them, the couple powered through another formal reception with grace. And they have certainly become one of the most fashion forward royals who we can't help with love.

For the uninitiated, the couple are on a 16-day trip to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand, and have so far covered most of their destination. They met several dignitaries and citizens on their way and Markle wowed us with her graceful fashion choices. Let's recap some of our favourite looks from their trips so far.
