Together Since, Forever...
The two supposedly met nearly a decade ago on the sets of the movie The Last Song in 2009. After dating quietly for a while, the couple became engaged in 2012. But they broke off their engagement the following year and separated. However, in 2015 they were spotted back together and later announced that they were engaged again.
The two have since been in a steady relationship and are always low-key about it. This, even though they've been living together for quite a while.
In fact, if you've been following the couple closely you'll know that the two lost their Malibu home in the Californian fires recently. They even posted about it on their social media handles and encouraged people to help and donate to help the Malibu community.
This incident brought them even closer together. A source told E!News that "They've been leaning on each other for support and constantly telling each other how grateful they are for each other."
And it seems that after having gone through so much, they finally decided to legally cement their relationship.
Miley And Liam's Simple White Wedding
While the couple did share a few images from their wedding, most of it was kept under wraps and only for a few to see and attend. The 26-year-old singer and the 28-year-old actor gathered their loved ones to exchange vows in their Nashville, Tenn. home.
Let's take a look at what transpired behind closed doors at Miley and Liam's wedding. Clearly putting to rest the one question on everybody's mind: Is Miley Cyrus married to Liams Hemsworth?
1. Fresh and Beautiful
Even though the handsome couple wed in a low-key affair, they kept the glam on a 100! While Cyrus donned a Vivienne Westwood satin gown, which retails for $8,600. Hemsworth looked dashing in a classic black and white suit with a pair of white Vans sneakers.
2. Sweet and simple
While not much has been revealed about the wedding planning and process, it is clear that much thought went behind it. For instance, the groom's boutonnière matched that of the bride's unique bouquet.
The flower arch made up of roses and baby's breath flowers and the cute balloons acted as the perfect setup for the couple to take their vows. The couple surely put to rest the question of 'Is Miley Cyrus married to Liam Hemsworth?'
3. It was a laid back affair with multiple outfit changes
The couple is known for their laidback style and simplicity and clearly had their family and friends in attendance follow suit. For instance, the bride's mum, Tish Cyrus first appeared dapper in a suit (while posing with the bride). But then changed to comfy jeans and jumper during the cake-cutting ceremony. The rest of the family seems to have followed suit as well.
4. Strictly family only affair
The couple seem to have wanted only their family around during this joyous time. They didn't want randos asking 'is Miley Cyrus married now?' In addition to the Cyrus family: Tish, Billy and Miley's sisters Noah, 18, and Brandi, 31, her brother Braison came with his fiancee. From Hemsworth family, his big brothers Chris and Luke, and father, were present to represent.
As an insider previously told E! News, "A lavish ceremony wasn't important to Miley or Liam, all that mattered was that their families could be there... The Cyrus and the Hemsworth families love each other and get along so well. Both families are thrilled Miley and Liam have finally made it official."
