Instagram Star Gets Dragged For Photoshopping Herself Into Different Locations In Paris

Word to the wise: if you're going to Photoshop your Instagram photos, you better know how to use Photoshop in the first place.
When Swedish-born Instagram star Johanna Olsson went on a trip to Paris, she posted several photos of herself posing in well-known locations, as Instagram stars are wont to do. At first glance, there didn't seem to be anything amiss with her photos. But at a closer look, it became apparent that there was something fishy going on — specifically, Instagram photoshop fail after fail.
She had photoshopped herself into the locations.
Instagram celebs are known to retouch their photos on the regular, but Olsson seemed to have drastically reworked her photos. Unfortunately, she overestimated her skills, because it wasn't long before her followers noticed something was up.

I mean...
We don't even know where to begin here.
There's a mysteriously missing umbrella, two-toned hedges, and here, colour-changing grass:
This might not look too bad on a phone screen, but on a device with higher resolution, it's obvious that her room's view wasn't this gorgeous.

Those shoes.
We have no words.
To her credit, Olsson quickly admitted that her photos were faked soon after the backlash started. She explained in an Instagram story that she had tweaked her photos, but she's not sorry for doing it.
“I wanted to talk a little bit about the pictures I posted in Paris,” she explains. “So I did one picture first, where I shot it and didn’t think it looked that nice… so I took a different background and put the background in there, and then nobody noticed so I thought, this is good.
“I just wanted to make that clear that I was in Paris, but I did Photoshop the background, but I’m not going to take them down because it’s a collaboration and they’re nice pictures – it’s a good outfit!”
Though these posts will likely stay up (because they're #sponsored, doi), we hope she won't ever take them down. Let the backlash serve as a reminder that if you plan on deceiving your followers, you better have Photoshop skills to pull it off.
