Planning to hit the club this coming weekend? Well then, do away with your LBDs because something more exciting (and basic) is taking over the social circuits. Celebrities including popstar Rihanna, models Bella and Gigi Hadid and even K-pop star Mina (from Twice) are clubbing outfits with jeans and making it the new 'go-to.'
And nope, they are not just rocking basic jeans and tee. But taking the look to a whole new level with their accessories and designer tops, giving us fan girls some major fashion inspo. But the good news is that you don't have to spend millions of dollars to look like your favourite celeb.
Club Outfits With Jeans For A Whole New Look
You can play with you existing denims and club outfits with jeans. Don't believe us? Then take some style inspiration from your favourite fashion influencers who have been rocking this trend.
1. Distressed denims and a feminine top
Distressed denims are perhaps the most versatile basics you can own. They literally go with everything, just as Wendy Nguyen shows us. If you are more into feminine wear but want to swap your LBDs for something more comfortable, distressed denims can come in handy.
Pair them with a flow(y) or feminine top, perhaps an off-shoulder, and you have the chicest outfit. But don't forget to accessorise with a statement clutch and earrings. We definitely love this look because you can take it from day to night with just a change of eyeshadow and fancy accessories.
2. Hot pants with a pop of colour
Who says you can't rock hot pants to club. To be honest, most chic girls are already doing it, you might as well join the club too! Since you are already have a 'legs for days' situation going on, throw on a covered top and matching heels and purse a'la Nguyen.
This not only looks classic and chic, it also leaves a little to imagination. And frankly, if you are confident about your body, you can rock anything. Going for an understated lipstick and bold eyeshadow will complete your look.
3. Bring them mom jeans out
Take your look from day to night and slip into the club looking supah chic. We are taking our inspiration from fashion influencer Andrea Chong who knows how to rock those mom jeans. Pair yours with a statement coat and heels and let your inner Rihanna shine through the night.
We recommend adding a statement choker to amp up the entire look. But hey! If you are more of a casual kind of girl, you do you.
4. Get that dress over denims
Pairing a chic long open dress or even one made out of a transparent net can turn your simple denims into a statement in itself. We're taking our inspiration for this particular look from fashion influencer Aimee Song. She's paired her traditional wrap dress over jeans and we are living for it.
Her pulled back hair and a statement bag are also just perfect. If you love to experiment but "don't have any clothes" then definitely try this look. We have and we loved it!
5. Bootcuts and bralettes all the way
For the more daring girls, this is another option. Brallettes have been taking over our social feeds for almost two years now and rightfully so. They look chic and sexy when paired with the right bottoms. And fashion influencer Nellie Lim isis clearly doing justice to it.
Take your fashion inspo from her to keep your look chic, sexy and yet modest. Adding a statement coat, colour blocking with bootcut denims or throwing in some necklaces can do the trick. And make this one of the chicest club outfits with jeans you've owned.
7. Denim on denim, what's up?
A pair of mom jeans under a slit skirt. Yes, we're doing it and you can too. Take your fashion inspiration from influencer Nicole Wong to pair your mom jeans under long slit denim skirts. This is definitely going to grab you eyeballs.
But Hey! If you didn't dance to your own beats, then what's the use of getting up at all. She's paired her statement bottoms with a simple crop top, statement earrings and slides.
8. All flared up
If you love to burn the dance floor, perhaps this should be your go-to. Taking inspiration from Tammy Tay, pair your flared wide-legged relaxed jeans with a statement top and some casual shoes.
For the Millennial kids this is also an easy to achieve look if you own flared bottoms that were all the rage in the 00s. It may need a cut and some fraying, but the end result will be nothing less than chic. Mind you, even Rihanna loves these types of club outfits with jeans too.
9. Go back to basics
And finally, if you are just a basic tee and jeans kind of gal, stick to it. Rock your Converse with your skinny jeans and add a bomber jacket to the look a'la Branda Ng. This is perhaps the safest look, if you're all about the comfort and don't necessarily want to amp up the look from day to night.
And if you want to, replace your shoes with a pair of heels, tie your hair in a bun (for all the dancing you'll do), carry a statement clutch and you are ready to rumble!
