In January, Mattel announced that it would be releasing a line of BTS dolls for ARMYs everywhere to collect and place appropriately on their personal shrines. And the BTS dolls release date is almost upon us, with Mattel tweeting this teaser:

According to Mattel, the BTS dolls will be fashioned after their looks from the boys' iconic "IDOL" music video.
So based on the silhouettes in the sneak peek above, that's (from left to right) V, J-Hope, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and Suga. (Think otherwise? Let us know in the comments below!)
"The detail into the costume will be very high," says a representative from Mattel told GeekSpin. And fans will be delighted to find out that each doll has 11 points of articulation — which is doll-speak for having fully poseable arms, legs, hands, and feet.
BTS UNO cards
In addition to the BTS fashion dolls, Mattel will also be releasing BTS-themed UNO cards. The game will have the same rules as the typical UNO card game, but it will come with one extra rule and a special card.
How much will each BTS doll cost?
It seems like spending a buttload of cash on merch is just part of ARMY life, but BTS's fans can breathe easy after learning the price of each individual doll, because they're actually not that expensive. Each BTS doll will cost US$20, so buying one or two shouldn't make too much of a dent in your bank account.
But if you plan on buying all seven dolls, you'll need to fork up US$140, which isn't exactly cheap. And we don't know how long the dolls will be available, or if stocks will last, so it might be a good idea to start saving up now so you can get all the dolls as soon as they come out.
Bighit: the album preorders are out now, the album comes out next month, we got the speak yourself tour in may, mattel dolls are coming out soon, bts world is coming, bts funko pop dolls are out, plus there might be version 4 of the army bomb coming out and tour merch My wallet: pic.twitter.com/OKN5i4hsTi
