Bag Trends 2019: Tiny Bags Are All Set To Take Over Your Closet

Tiny purses are one of the the hottest bag trends 2019 is witnessing

Teeny tiny bags will be taking over your closet soon. They are one the smartest bag trends 2019 has to offer and they've already made a huge mark on the fall 2019 fashion weeks.

Designers like Carolina Herrera, Brandon Maxwell, and Long Champ showcased a barrage of tiny bags with chunky gold hardware. While gold hardware has been omnipresent for the past two years, tiny bags might just slip into Spring of next year as well.

The statement designs range from mini trunk-shaped boxes to crossbody clutches, and most stood out for their structured, yet mini and adorable styles. If this does not get you to make a major downsize from your bulky satchels, we do not know what will. Take a look at some of the styles showcased at the New York Fashion Week

Brandon Maxwell showcased a sophisticated and restrained collection. It focussed mostly on a muted palette of plain black and white, as well as random injections of lime green and fuchsia. And complementing it were the tiny bags in equally muted colours with bold gold hardware.

Plenty of youthful and bold colours went into Carolina Herrera's collection this season, as designer Wes Gordon maintains its signature elegant, feminine flair. Complementing his confident and fresh look were tiny bags in bold solid colours. And again, we saw chunky gold hardware that went perfectly with each look.

Designer Amy Smilovic's high low collection mixed experimentation and heritage. She was able to combine luxurious pieces and low key ones and accessorised her looks with tiny colourful bags. From red to grey to white, there was something for everybody and silver hardware was prominent.

Ulla Johnson's bag line is growing. Crafted with an emphasis on artisanal practice, her collection is full of bold prints, lush textures and feminine silhouettes. The colour and pattern defined her this season this time as well and were complemented by the boho chic tiny patchwork purses. Definitely, one of the biggest bag trends 2019 has to offer!

As one of the progressive brands breaking boundaries for women, Rebecca Minkoff focused on the multidimensional, modern woman this season. Popular for her accessories, she showcased smaller bag designs including her popular fanny pack.

While all of these designs set the fashion week on fire, there was another luxury fashion brand that was making for another peculiar tiny bag. This, we suspect might just become of the biggest bag trends 2019 has to offer.

Recently seen in its spring/summer 2019 collection, the ultra chic, monogrammed accessory was launched as the new It-Bag created just for your lipstick.

Branded with the label's iconic monogram, a handy mirror is tucked inside the brilliantly crafted bullet cases for convenient touchups.

Launched in two different colour offerings, you can choose between the tan with silver, or the chocolate with gold hardware, of which both their designs are inspired by 1920s jewellery holders.

Available in stores mid-March, expect to fork out $1,450 for this brilliant, versatile case, which can be worn in different ways as a long necklace, or cross body.

Additionally, besides the lipstick case, Louis Vuitton also previously launched two other accessories collections including the debut home fragrance collection containing four perfumed candles, and the luxurious monogram wireless Horizon earphones.

Well, if you love luxe luxury, perhaps you can try this one too!
