Here's Everything We Know About Ariana Grande's Upcoming Album
It's only been six months since the release of 'Sweetener', but Ari's been through a lot since then, and has got a lot to get off her chest...
If it feels like it was only yesterday that Ariana Grande blessed us with the gem of a record that was Sweetener, that's because it kinda was. But the pop star has been on a roll. While preparing to go on tour for Sweetener, she's releasing her fifth studio album very soon — just in time for Valentine's. Here's what we know about the Ariana Grande new album.
Ariana Grande New Album: What You Need To Know
1. It's called Thank U, Next
Ari blew the whole world away when she dropped a surprise single out of the blue and got real about her exes. The positive and in-your-face lyrics couple with the catchy melody and beat quickly made it the sassy post-breakup anthem of what seemed like every single man and woman on earth, so it makes sense that she'd name her fifth album after the hit single.
2. The release date is in early February.
In a tweet, Ariana confirmed that the album will be released on February 8, 2019.
3. It's got TWO covers.
Ari said on Instagram that she had a pink album cover made for the digital version and a dark version made for the physical. She's revealed the pink version, which has her pictured upside down, lying down, the words "Thank U, Next" scrawled on her neck.
4. Here's the track list.
Some of the titles have got fans speculating over what they could be about. For example, "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored" could be about her ex Big Sean — who she wrote "could still get it" in the burn book of the "thank u, next" music video.
5. Fans have also been looking for clues of the songs' content in Ari's social media accounts...

6. And some hawk-eyed Arianators have even read into the spacings between tracks.
the spaces between some of the titles are larger, so I believe the songs are separated in 3 groups/phases: 1 - falling in love 2 - disappointment and the process of breaking up 3 - healing and living your best life also the titles kinda fit the theory — phil (@phi_lipi) January 23, 2019
7. Basically, we're all agreed: Ariana is a queen and we can't wait for this record.
